Pudina (noun.) in English Mint leaves is globally used to add flavour to drinks and dishes. The fresh dry leaves of the plant are used to extract essential oil. It can be used in a variety of delicious baked treats, drinks, savoury sauces, mokitos, Mint juleps and drinks. The herb is produced from the plant menthe and it is native to the eastern Mediterranean. It is gluten-free, suitable for vegan, vegetarian, and rice (chawal) diets.
In the Middle Eastern and Greek dishes, it is included in salads, side dishes, sauces. The chutney made from mint complements lamb, chicken bhuna and poultry.
