Poppadum (noun.) indicates the thin crisp Indian bread made from lentil flour and masala( crushed Peppercorns). The flavoured flour is made into a snack by rolling the dough of gram flour into paper-thin circles and then the dry version is fried or baked to get a snack like a dish, often served with the traditional Indian thali. The single-layer baked Poppadum can be eaten with chutneys and creamy dips.
