Paneer (Noun. countable and uncountable)–The word Paneer can be found in the menus of Indian restaurants. It is a fresh un-melting unsalted soft cheese made by curdling milk with a fruit- or vegetable-derived acid, such as lemon juice. It can be eaten right away, immediately on preparation.
It does not require ageing or culturing. One can use it to make various recipes like paneer tikka, paneer masala, pilau, paneer curry and cheese recipes as it absorbs flavours and goes well as a vegetarian alternative to meat and chicken dishes.
